Catch Me if You Can!

Magic Babe Ning

Woohoo… Guess which Singaporean author will be at the upcoming Bookfest @ Malaysia 2015 event for a special meet-and-greet/ book signing?

I’m super excited to be invited for this big nationwide event and look forward to meeting my Malaysian readers. I’ve been requested to do a magic performance by the organizers, so I conceded. It’s going to be fun! So please don’t be a stranger… Say HI and swing by! \

Also, if you’ve got my books, Adventures of 2 Girls and Who is Magic Babe Ning, do bring them along to get them signed. Or support the book industry and pick up some new reads at the event itself 🙂 You don’t have to, but I think it’s nice to support the publishing industry.

As a child growing up, I spent hours lost in books since it brought me into another world – a beautiful land of exciting fantasy, which I dare say helped me develop creativity and language skills. I hope reading is something children will still continue to do, and more so with grown ups because there’s so much you can go on to learn and (re)discover!

For instance, I quite recently found out about Shojin Ryori and enjoyed this brilliant award-winning book by Taiwan-based chef Danny Chu, which I just reviewed. If like me, you are fascinated by Japanese food, Zen culture, and Buddhist philosophy, I think this might be just be a book you’d enjoy.

Anyways. If you happen to be heading up to KL or are based there, you’ll know where to find me! See you then…
