Wish you had a super visual and practical card gaff/gimmick so devious spectators are clueless inches away?
Sure, you’ve seen a lot of cool looking card gaffs on video, then it arrives and looks nothing like in the trailer. This is different! What you see is what you will perform. That is why we shot the trailer in broad daylight and up close.
– Handlings for Beginner to Pro.
– Devious Gaff/Gimmick, spectators are clueless inches away!
– Comes Ready to Use (Just Add Regular Playing Cards.)
– Ends Clean (no palming or deck needed)
– Resets almost instantly
The gaff is strong as any playing card and gimmick can last hundreds of performances with a little care.
2 sets of the gaff/gimmicks and all special cards in red and blue bicycle. 5 Routines, Rapid Training Sheet, and 90 Minutes of Online Training
One for Four: One Ace and four kings transpose right in your spectator’s hands!
No King Left: Aces and kings change places and a kicker where the kings turn blank in your spectator’s hands!
Chosen: A chosen card is revealed using the kings which morph into aces, then one ace into the selection!
Signed: The kings morph into aces, then one ace transposes with a signed card leaving the last ace where the signed card was in full view. Great follow up to an Ambitious Card routine!
Twist: Vernon’s classic “Twisting The Aces” with simple moves and kicker finale where kings turn into aces!
Bonus: Radical Aces, using Anomaly with the “Radical Change” to morph two cards at once.
Add Your Own: Regular kings (2 king of spades,) aces, and card box.
I love videos like that… and fun, visual, snappy card effects like Anomaly by Michael Scanzello 🙂 When I first checked out the promo video above, I was wondering if elastic thread was possibly used for the gimmick, because it had to be right?! That’s the usual suspect these days for fun, visual, snappy card effects… but I was pleasantly surprised to find out otherwise!
Yup, I’m happy to report that there’s nothing to DIY and you can use Anomaly straight out of its packaging. The included gaffs are reliable and should last a reasonably long time. Additionally, you can easily “refresh” the cards when they lose their certain magical properties. Michael shows you how and with what, and even talks you through all the nitty gritty details of his creation. He even spends time sharing about making a practice card for Anomaly, and the full care and handling… you can tell that this is his precious baby, which he’s carefully honed in his own professional repertoire for years before releasing it to other magicians!
This is what I received in the little plastic package (sans wax paper separator), along with the “rapid training sheet” and template plus printed instructions complete with full colour photographs.
There’s also 90mins worth of password protected video instructions hosted on Murphy’s Magic website, which is broken down into three video tutorials where the creator patiently explains the inner workings of this extremely clever close up gem. You’ll need to use your own deck of Bicycle cards (in the video instructions you’ll find out which cards you’ll need to use as well) as this routine involves the card box.
The marketing video above is true to real life performance, guaranteed to make you look like a rockstar of magical sleights. And the good news? You don’t actually need to be a rockstar of magical sleights… you will just look it 😉 Michael demonstrates three different handlings suitable for folks of different skill levels, for his five routines. So no worries at all if you’re not yet a pro!
There’s so much to like about this clever, and reasonably priced trick. If you do table hopping at restaurants or work a lot of cocktail events, I’m sure you’ll enjoy this practical close up magic effect that resets almost instantly. This is fun interactive magic for the unsuspecting spectator 😉 Good stuff!
