Review: Box Pad DVD and Gimmick by Gary Jones and Chris Congreave

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Reviewer: John Teo”][vc_column_text]This is a quick effect.  A small writing pad is shown and it suddenly changes into an encased deck of playing cards.  The case is opened and a full deck of 52 playing cards can be dumped out, and with which the performer can begin performing his card tricks.

This is based on Gary Jones’ “Noted 2.0” where a small writing pad quickly transforms into a deck of playing cards without the card case.  “Noted 2.0” is also available from Magic Tao.

You receive the necessary gimmick which you have to attach to the case of your own deck of bicycle brand playing cards (not supplied).  When ordering, you have to specify whether you want to use this on your red or blue back bicycle deck.

You also receive an instructional DVD that teaches everything.

This makes an excellent introduction to card tricks as the effect is quick and visual.  It is also easy to perform and the cards that are produced are fully examinable.
