[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Reviewer: Ning”][vc_column_text]DESCRIPTION

Have you ever bought something and then wish you hadn’t? It happens to all of us!

Buyer’s Remorse is a new trick that’ll help you fix that situation in a blink of an eye! Now you can transform any paper receipt into a bunch of bills and it works with any currency!

You show a receipt in your hands. You fold it twice and turn it over and just like magic, you’re holding a bunch of bills that you can fan out front and back and count individually. Creator, George Iglesias, pays tribute to his magic mentor, the great José “Pepe” Sousa, with this very visual magic trick that you can also make up with your own money and receipts! Buyer’s Remorse comes with a gimmick already made for you with 4 realistic-looking hundred-dollar bills. It’s very easy to do. Take it out of the pack and you will be doing this right away!

Bonus effect:

Learn an impromptu way of doing this with a non-gimmicked object: You show a spectator a paper receipt and ask him to put it inside of any of his empty pockets. You say the magic word and the receipt magically transforms into a paper bill while it’s in his pocket-without you even touching it!

Here’s what you get:

  • 1 special gimmick made of a duty-free receipt and four realistic-looking $100 bills.
  • 4 extra receipts from Target, Apple Store, Macy’s and Walmart so you can make other gimmicks with your own currency.
  • 2 extra realistic-looking $100-dollar bills to use for your extra gimmicks.
  • 1 instructional online video.

You’ll enjoy amazing yourself and your friends with the highly visual, fun-to-do magic of the new Buyer’s Remorse!

El Mago George Iglesias of Twister Magic Studio has an impressive professional CV performing on stage and TV. The Peruvian illusionist’s latest creation, Buyer’s Remorse, is an extension of the serious pride he has for our craft. IMHO this is solid stuff which more close-up magicians should know about. With some creativity and imagination, you can certainly open up many doors of possibilities with this clever bit of transformational origami.

In the box you will receive everything you need to start performing this highly visual magic miracle, where your audience see with their own eyes: a small stack of money instantly take the place of a single receipt held at your fingertips. In case you’re wondering, no there’s no magnets and yes, you can flash the money on both sides once the transformation takes place. This may be a flashy way for you to pay for purchases, next time you decide to do so in cash 😉

There is a Vimeo of about 20min long, presented in English by the creator, which details instructions in performing (the effect that you see in the promo video, as well as, an instant stooge version) and customising your Buyer’s Remorse gimmick using simple stationary you’ll already have at home or in the office. Since a full-working set is already included, you can easily use that as a guide (along with the online instructions) to make your own. Construction is not difficult, and it won’t take you more than five minutes to put everything together.

While three fake American $100 bills are included in the package, you can… and really should… use real currency when constructing your own gimmick. Three other fake receipts are included as well, but you can just use your own. The thicker the paper stock the better, as one should be mindful about lighting situations for obvious reasons.

I really like this one since there’s many alternatives you can do with the method for Buyer’s Remorse; turning a non-winning lottery ticket back into cold hard cash, for instance. This makes for a great walkaround close-up effect, and truly packs flat but plays big. Heartily recommended!
