Review: Pieces (Gimmicks and Online Video Instructions) by Christian Engblom

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Reviewer: Lucian J”][vc_column_text]This is an incredibly inventive Triumph solution from the esteemed Christian Engblom.  It comes with gimmicks, which you add to your deck.  These are perfectly made.  With practice, you will have an absolutely devastating Triumph effect that will fool both magicians and laymen.  The effect is best done seated, and you would have to do so if you wish to do the clean up as recommended.

A number of varied applications are presented, but the best by far is the basic triumph effect.  I am not sure if the added layer of fooling attained by using this is warranted over a regular triumph for a regular lay audience, but that is a decision that you will have to make for yourself.

The effect will take considerable practice to perfect and it will take some time to acquire the necessary feel for the gimmicks in order to perform smoothly and without hesitation.

It is not for everyone, but for the card connoisseur, this is definitely something to be savoured and will fry any magician not in the know.  It is truly one of the cleanest triumphs I know.

Highly recommended.
