Review: Real Coin Bend (US or UK Version) by Rasmus Magic

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Reviewer: Michael Siegel”][vc_column_text]Rasmus’ Real Coin Bend is a marvelous, original invention which has truly advanced the classic coin bending effect to new heights. Rasmus is a terrific magician and creator of original magic from Switzerland. It took Rasmus many late nights over many years eating Swiss chocolate before he developed this unique effect.

You simply take out or borrow an American quarter or English 50 P and at your fingertips you are able to bend the coin. Other than the coin you are bending your hands are completely empty before, during, and after the effect. Amazing! I have several very well made gimmicks that allow a real time bend, but with Rasmus’ Real Coin Bend you do not need any gimmicks other than the coin.

For the $159.00 price of admission you get 3 special U.S. quarters or English 50 P coins. They exactly look and feel like regular coins. You also receive video instructions lasting 43 minutes. Luke Jermay joins Rasmus in thoroughly going over every detail of several wonderful, mind blowing routines where you bend a coin at your fingertips. There is a variation that uses a wine glass is very dramatic for close-up, stand-up or even stage use.

While you can simply take out a coin from your pocket to do this effect, Luke shows you some methods of getting the special coin from a group of coins and even having a coin borrowed from a spectator and still having it bend at your fingertips. Since the bend is so visually stunning and unbelievably clean, you do not need to have the coin signed. Luke does show, however, a routine using a borrowed coin and having the coin initialed and then given out at the end to the spectator to keep as a souvenir.

In addition to Luke Jermay, Dee Christopher, a well-known and respected mentalist, shows and explains his version of a very visual coin bend using Rasmus’ Real Coin Bend gimmick.

Yes, the price is steep. $159.00. For that price you receive 3 U.S. Quarters or 3 English 50 P coins. Due to the nature of the coins, each coin can be used between 60 and 100 times before the coin loses its special properties. I would not let that deter you.

For the price you are talking about performing a devastating effect approximately 300 times. For about $2.00 per performance 300 people or groups of people will remember you for this effect. A small price to pay. I would not recommend doing this table hopping though.

You should use this very stunning piece of magic for a special person or table that you want to really impress them. This effect is a deal closer to get you that gig. This trick is to be used to impress the restaurant or club manager, CEO of a company, your boyfriend/girlfriend, the bride and groom at a wedding, or the person that hired you.

This is a very unique and amazing effect. Highly recommended. 10 out of 10 lucky charms. Swiss chocolate not included.

Available directly from Rasmus Magic and other good magic shops!
